IMA SF 110
The Komomo SF-110 casts like an arrow due to an internal weight shifting system. The Komomo doesn’t have a protruding diving lip giving it a really natural appearance without additional casting resistance. Described as a ‘super shallow minnow’, when retrieved the lure will work in the top 30cm. Raise your rod high and crank slowly and the lure will sit just beneath the surface film with a tight rolling and wobbling action. When the lure is stopped it will sit almost vertical in the water and float slowly to the surface. Equipped with Owner ST-46 hooks, the lure is 110mm long, weighs around 12g and features a nearly indestructible ABS plastic body.

The IMA Komomo 2 fishes within the top 20cm, just sub-surface and therefore it can be used in very shallow water. Hold the rod tip up and crank slowly and the lure will fish close to the surface creating an enticing wake due to an innovative lip design. The Komomo 2 can also be made to ‘gurgle’ and ‘pop’ at the surface, which can prove to be a highly productive technique for bass. Using a steady retrieve the Komomo 2 will move enticingly with a wide rolling action. This is a floating lure measuring approximately 110mm and weighing 15g. Internal weights allow the lure to be cast easily, even in strong wind. The lures come rigged with Owner ST46 #3 hooks. Whilst this is a great lure for bass, it will also appeal to a whole variety of predators both fresh and saltwater. The lures have an aesthetic quality which is really unrivalled with holographic effects providing shimmer and flashes as the lure moves.

The IMA Sasuke 140 can be cast a serious distance, even into strong winds, due to its highly dense internal shifting tungsten ball weights. Its ‘dished lip’ and weight transfer allow it to vibrate tightly on the retrieve and the lure can also be made to dart erratically. The IMA lures are highly durable made from tough ABS plastic. The Sasuke 140mm weighs 18g and will typically dive to between 60cm and 100cm although the lure will dive deeper in strong current and can be fished closer to the surface with the rod held high. This lure has arrived in the UK with huge potential
Our thoughts
Great lures for rougher conditions – casts well into head wind and digs into big seas, especially the 140mm version which presents a larger bait for a hungry predator.

It is perfect for bassing in livelier conditions as it can punch into strong head winds, dig into rougher waters yet still be fished relatively shallow – especially with a raised rod tip.
